Gender Equality Plan
Gender equality is a value that is shared not only at European level and in the legislative environment of individual countries (e.g. the Charter of Fundamental Rights and Freedoms, the Anti-Discrimination Act, the Labour Code, the European Social Charter, etc.), but is also formulated directly in the environment of the European Research Area. Since 2012, incentives have been introduced to ensure comparable working conditions for researchers in Europe and to enable their mobility across research teams. The European Commission also supports this area in the framework of the European Charter for Researchers and the Code of Conduct for the Recruitment of Researchers, and subsequently recognises it in the HR Excellence in Research Award (HR Award), a prestigious award given for excellence in the care of human resources in a scientific environment.
The Equal Opportunities Plan (GEP) is a strategic document that defines the steps to achieve gender equality in a systematic and structured way. By adopting this strategic plan, the MÚA CAS also publicly commits itself to promoting gender equality as one of its development goals and declares that equal opportunities are an integral part of the Institute's policy.
The GEP includes specific activities and measures leading to lasting and sustainable change, performance indicators and includes evaluation of changes.
