Date: 1 March 2016, 16:00 - 18:00
On the initiative of the Permanent Czech-Austrian Conference on Common Cultural Heritage (CCAH), a team of Czech and Austrian historians is preparing a popular educational book and didactic material for school lessons on the modern history of both countries and their societies in the 19th and 20th centuries. In a four-part discussion series, the public is given the opportunity to get acquainted with the results of the work on the book so far, to ask the authors questions and to raise their own topics that should be taken into account in the book.
On the Czech side, the project is financially supported by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Czech Republic, the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports of the Czech Republic, the South Moravian Region and the Vysočina Region, and on the Austrian side by the Federal Ministry for Europe, Integration and Foreign Affairs, the Federal Ministry for Education and Women, the Future Fund of the Republic of Austria and the Länder of Vienna, Lower Austria and Upper Austria.
