The Czech-German Historian Commission has the task of researching the common history of Czechs and Germans. The focus of its work lies in the 20th century. The Commission takes a multidisciplinary approach to the topics and seeks to analyse the historical experiences that link Czechs and Germans in a broad historical context and in a comparative perspective. The Commission organises conferences and expert meetings and publishes its own series of publications.
